Sadie decided today that since we didn't get her a walker, she was going to solve this problem herself. In other words she's been using this chair as one.

Mezze Lunch

Since Sadie pretty much eats table food now, we've been having fun feeding her small portions of what we eat. Today's lunch was beets with cheese and trout pate.

Grandma Lora's Visit

Grandma Lora visited us this past week.  We were sorry to see her depart yesterday, but we'll see her again soon.  Sadie loved all the attention and the hand sewn Raggedy Ann Doll Grandma brought!

Purim - Return of the Sadie bug

This past weekend was Purim and Sadie still fit into her Ladybug costume (just barely though!).  We had some fun at the TBZ Purim puppet show.

Sadie is 9 months old!!!

Sadie turned 9 months this weekend. It's kind of crazy to think about.  I've also looked at last year's calendar... at this time I was 7 months pregnant - what a different world that was.

Accomplishments since the 8 month summary?  In addition to standing, she can now cruise.  She also has 2 erupted teeth, and based on her behavior of late, we're expecting a 3rd. She babbles, giggles, tries to climb up on everything, and is a whirlwind of activity.  She also scarfs down table foods (curry! soup! stir fry! smoked fish!) with a huge smile.

Weekend Wedding

This weekend we went to a suburb of NY to my cousin Leo's wedding.  It was kind of a stressful two days - lots of time in the car (which Sadie doesn't really like), and Lee and Sadie both getting over colds.  Driving down, we stopped in New Haven between Sadie's naps to try and give her a break and let her work off some steam.  Thankfully, Andy provided us with a place of respite and some pastry.  Sadie had lunch too but seemed to prefer the less edible entertainment...

I'll post more pictures of us at the wedding once I receive them from various family members, but here is a picture of Sadie and Lee sharing a father daughter dance :-)

On the way back we stopped at a mall in CT to let Sadie crawl around a play area and eat lunch.  She had a pretty good time.  Thankfully, she was feeling better enough that she actually slept on the way back.  Or maybe we just wore her out.
