Sadie at Day Care

Day Care sent this photo of Sadie to us.  She's so focused!

First snow storm

Ok... it's not really a storm, only a couple of inches, but it was still coming down when it was time to go to day care. Sadie was all suited up, wearing her snow boots, and attached to Lee just for good measure...

SEC Championship Game

Things didn't go as planned for old Mizzou on Saturday so let's go back in time and see how everyone was doing Saturday morning...

Solid Foods

Sadie tried her first solid foods last night!  We started with sweet potatoes, in case any one is interested...

And then she made this face...

The frowny, "are you trying to poison me face" was independent of the parent trying to feed her...

Definitely more got on her face and bib than in her mouth... but she didn't seem too traumatized by it.

Then this morning we finally assembled the actual high chair we plan on using.  Here's Sadie in it.

Maybe this round of food will go better in the new chair?

Visit from Babulya and Deda

Sunday night we had some visitors who were excited about Sadie's return. They came with some Hanukkah Boots...

We also tried out our new menorah (Thanks Grandma Lora and Grandpa David!)

Thanksgivikah Part 3 - The Final Frontier

We are back in Boston now but here are some last pics to finish out the series.  Here is our last night in STL and the 3rd night of Chanukah

The next morning we took a thankfully uneventful flight home.

Everyone spent the rest of Saturday in their element and Sadie got to reunite with her favorite play mat...

Marching steadily towards solid foods

Sadie was eyeing the food we were eating so intently that we decided to let her try licking a carrot.  At first she made a face like we were trying to poison her.  But then she turned back to the carrot and was pretty content having it in her mouth.  I think we'll have to start her on food when we get back to Boston.

Thanksgivika Part 2

It's been an eventful week in Sadie's world.  This past Wednesday was the first night of Hanukkah. 

The next day we went over to Aunt Ava and Uncle Steve's house for Thanksgiving and more Hanukkah fun.

Sadie got the hang of the presents thing pretty quickly...

Sadie also sampled the wrapping paper in proper baby fashion...

We're in St. Louis and Sadie's been having lots of fun with Grandma Lora, Grandpa David, and Aunt Renee

 

 

 

We also went for formal family portraits. At one point there was a very comical number of adults trying to make Sadie smile.  Renee took a picture before we got yelled at by the photo place people...
