Traveling to St. Louis for Thanksgiving

This Saturday Sadie had her first plane ride.  We all went to St. Louis to visit Grandma Lora and Grandpa David (and the rest of the family) for Thanksgiving.

Once we got on the plane Sadie fell asleep in her seat (eventually)

And finally, the happy reunion when we arrived at the house, just in time for bed...

The next morning Sadie got to try out her entertainment center.

Visiting Babulya Ella and Deda Ed's house

This past Thursday we went to visit Babulya Ella and Deda Ed.  Sadie had a good time playing with Babulya Ella

Then Eitan woke up from his nap and Sadie and him played together

Afterwards she was pretty tuckered out from all the playing.  So much so, that Sadie even stayed asleep as I transferred her to the stroller

Sadie's finally just barely grown into the warmest snow suit we got for her, which is good as it's still getting colder. Also, there's still some room to grow in this one, thankfully.

Things have been pretty hectic around here.  Lee and I have both been tacking turns traveling for work so the posts have been sporadic (sorry).  But Sadie turned 5 months yesterday! 

Somehow overnight she went from being an infant to being a baby - she puts everything in her mouth, she's moving all over the place, and she's starting to eye our food very intensely.  Also, she's more than 15 lbs now - which is more than double her birth weight. 

But now to the fun part - the pictures!

Long time... no post

It's been too long since I've posted anything.  As we approach Sadie turning 5 months (!!!) she's learning a lot of new skills.  Her grasping ability is great now.  Which is a problem for any object near by...  Here is us at a diner this morning.  Does licking butter off a plate by accident count as starting solid foods?

And just because I can't resist comparisons, here's a reminder picture of Sadie's first trip to a diner (Sadie is 3 weeks)...

And one more fun fact that completely shocked me... Sadie can now reach the floor in the excersaucer!!!

And yes, that's the high chair we set up for her in the background so she could play with toys at the table with us while we ate lunch :-)
